How Much Does It Cost to Build a Mobile App in Bangladesh? (2026)

Prices in this guide were checked in September 2026 and are “starting from” figures in Bangladeshi taka. Your final quote depends on your exact requirements.

App quotes vary even more than website quotes, because “an app” can mean a three-screen catalogue or a full delivery platform with three separate apps and a live map. This guide breaks down what an app costs in Bangladesh, why, and what to budget for beyond the developer’s invoice.

Typical price ranges

Published Android app cost ranges from Bangladeshi agencies, and our own pricing, fall into three bands:

ComplexityTypical starting rangeWhat it usually means
Simple৳30,000 – ৳80,000A few screens, no login and no server — for example a catalogue, calculator or information app
Medium৳80,000 – ৳250,000User accounts, a backend and API, push notifications
Complex৳250,000 – ৳500,000+Marketplace, delivery or booking with real-time tracking, payments and several user roles

NadaIT’s app packages start at ৳45,000 for a single-platform app with up to five screens and no backend, ৳150,000 for an Android and iOS app with login, a backend and push notifications, and ৳350,000 for an on-demand platform with customer, provider and admin apps, real-time tracking and a payment gateway. Details are on our pricing page.

What drives the cost

  • Platforms. Android only, or Android and iOS. Cross-platform frameworks such as Flutter use one codebase for both, which is usually cheaper than building two native apps.
  • Backend and database. An app that stores user data needs a server and an API. That is a separate piece of work from the screens.
  • User accounts and roles. Login, profiles, and different permissions for customers, providers and admins.
  • Push notifications to bring users back.
  • Payments through a gateway, which also needs a merchant account.
  • Real-time features such as live tracking or chat.
  • An admin panel so you can manage users, content and orders.
  • Design. A custom interface costs more than a standard layout.

Costs outside the developer’s quote

  • Google Play developer account: a one-time fee of US$25.
  • Apple Developer Program: US$99 per year, required to publish on the App Store.
  • Both accounts should be registered in your business’s name. You must own the app listing. They need your identity and details, so a developer cannot create them for you.
  • Backend hosting for any app with a server. This is an ongoing cost.
  • Payment gateway merchant accounts, approved by the provider using your business documents.
  • Updates and maintenance when new Android or iOS versions change how things work.
  • Store review. Google and Apple review each submission and may ask for changes before approving it.

Cross-platform or native?

Native apps are written separately for Android and iOS and give the deepest access to phone features. Cross-platform apps share one codebase, so you pay for one build instead of two. For most business apps — accounts, listings, orders, notifications — cross-platform is the more economical choice. Native makes sense when you need heavy graphics or deep hardware access.

How to keep the cost sensible

  • Start with one core feature. Launch a smaller first version and add features once real users tell you what they need.
  • Choose your first platform from your customers. If most of your customers use Android, start there.
  • Plan the backend as an API. Then the same backend can later power a website or another app without rebuilding it.
